While we may not be able to assist in every case, please do not let that stop you from requesting a quote! It's possible that the service you require may not be provided directly by us, but rather through one of our established partners who are equally committed to quality service as we are at PSH. Therefore, the prices listed here are indicative only.
Immigration Consultation: €110 / hour + VAT. During the consultation, you will discuss your wishes and options with our expert colleague. Each session lasts approximately one hour, and if you later decide to obtain a residence permit with our assistance, the consultation fee will be deducted from our service fee.
For EU Citizens:
- Registration Card and Address Card for EEA Citizens: €800 + VAT / person
For NON-EU Citizens:
- Extension of residence permit for managing directors of hungarian businesses engaged in employment, with a business plan: €2,900 + VAT

*Since January 2014, the previous work and residence permits have been merged into a single permit. Accordingly, foreigners arriving in Hungary for employment purposes only need to go through one procedure.

- Residence permit application for non-Europeans, family reunification:
€1,800 + VAT / person (+ certified translation costs)
HUNGARIAN CITIZENSHIP
- Consultation on citizenship eligibility: €200 + VAT.
If you later order the full service, this fee will be deducted from the total cost. We will check whether you are eligible for Hungarian citizenship based on your ancestors, and whether the documents you have are sufficient to submit the application. If genealogy research is needed, one of our specialized partners will be able to obtain the necessary documents. If it turns out that you are not eligible for Hungarian citizenship, we can suggest other options based on your goals. For example, obtaining a residence permit in Hungary offers similar benefits but has different requirements.
- Genealogy research and/or procurement of evidentiary documents (if necessary): €1,690 + VAT
If you do not have the necessary information or documents, we will conduct the required genealogy research (either in Hungary or in former Hungarian territories, i.e., neighboring countries) and obtain the necessary documents.
- Submission of hungarian citizenship application (full service): €3,000 + VAT
We will check whether you are eligible for Hungarian citizenship based on your ancestors, and whether the documents you have are sufficient to submit the application. We will assess whether your Hungarian language skills are sufficient for the citizenship interview and if you need any language preparation. We will compile the application package you need to submit and help you decide where to submit your application and how to book an appointment. We provide full support from the first step to obtaining citizenship.
- Hungarian language lessons (in-person or online), specifically preparing for the consular interview: €1,200 + VAT
The language teachers we work with know exactly how well you need to speak Hungarian for the citizenship application, and offer tailored language lessons either in-person or online. (Typically, 25 hours are sufficient to acquire the necessary language skills.)
- Tax consultation: €120 + VAT / HOUR
Speak with a tax expert to find out in advance if you will have tax obligations in Hungary! (This is particularly recommended if you intend to move to Hungary.)

REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT
COMMERCIAL OR RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY
When you purchase a home or business property through PSH EU Gateway, you can be assured that you will quickly find what you are looking for. To start the property search, we request an advance payment, which will later be deducted from the success fee payable after the purchase.
The following costs can be expected:
- Property dearch advance:
€800 + VAT, which includes a consultation about what you are looking for and what your options are; property search, where our colleagues identify properties for sale that best meet your needs; viewing the selected properties together with one of our colleagues (if you are in Budapest, this will be in person)
- Success fee for residential property (payable only upon completion of the transaction): 0.5-2% of the purchase price minus the advance + VAT
- Success fee for commercial property (payable only upon completion of the transaction): 0.5-2% of the purchase price minus the advance + VAT
- Legal fees: Up to 1% of the investment + VAT, which includes preparing the contract, transferring ownership, and registering the property with the land registry.
- Registration fee: 4% of the investment, payable to the NAV (National Tax and Customs Administration)
- Permission fee for non-EU citizens to finalize the purchase: €300 + VAT
- Property management: €100 + VAT / month
- Whether you want to rent out your Hungarian property (long-term or short-term) or use it yourself when you are in the country, our property management service ensures that everything is in perfect order around the house.
